The Dual pulse insertion flow transducer is a cost effective inline flow meter giving the user simple means of measuring the flow of water and a wide variety of low viscosity liquids. Two versions available, the standard model DP490S suitable for pipe diameters from 40 – 900mm and the hot tap version model DP525S suitable for pipe diameters from 50 – 2500mm. The Dual Pulse flowmeter can be supplied as a pulsed output version or fitted with integral instrumentation. eg Totaliser, Rate Totaliser or Batch Controller. A quadrature pulse option is available for bi-directional flow measurement.
The Dual Pulse Flow Transducer is a great economical Inline Flow Meter designed to measure large flow rates in a wide range of pipe diameters. It is simple and cost effective to install and can be used on all hot and cold water applications and with its all stainless steel construction and IP68 (NEMA6) submersible rating. The installation of the DP490S utilises a 1-1/2″ BSPF socket while the Hot tap version the DP525S utilises a 2″ BSPF socket. A saddle clamp connection with the appropriate fitting is also an easy option for installing the Dual Pulse Insertion Flow Transducer into a range of pipe diameters.
