The Series 3500 Variable Area Flow Meter range is a quality flow meter with excellent means of instantaneous flow rate measurement for a wide range of industrial process gases and liquids. The materials of construction are stainless steel, or optional rigid PVC end blocks with 1-1/2” BSPPF process connections, borosilicate glass metering tube that has a metric scale of 170 mm permanently fired to it and an aluminum chassis with polycarbonate safety cover. The 3500 series meter is fitted with a calibrated scale and a useful blank scale plate can also be provided for customers own calibrations if required.
The series 3500 Variable Area Flow Meter operates with flow ranges up to 250 lt/min of water or 7500 lt/min air @ 1013 mbar abs 20oC) and can be set up with an economical latching alarm device that enables the alarm to remain activated whilst flow is above or below a set point. This reduces expensive electronic circuitry and is ideal for remote and process control applications.
