Siemens have recently introduced the next generation Sitrans flow transmitter. The Sitrans FMT020 supersedes the Mag5000 and 6000 series The common types of Siemens Electromagnetic Flow Sensor are Now the Sitrans FMS500 and the FMS300 replacing the Mag5100W & 3100 series flanged sensor, whilst the FMS100 replaces the 1100 series sandwich design (Flangeless) and the 1100 Food with sanitary clamp connections with a range of liners and electrode materials to suit your application. Also available is the Battery MAG, the Sitrans MAG 8000.
The FMS1100 series meters start at DN2 to DN100 while the FMS500, FMS300 and battery MAG 8000 are available from DN25 upwards
The Sitrans Magnetic Flow Meter comprise of two components. A Sensor (Flow Tube) and a Signal Converter (Electronics) available as remote from Sensor or Compact version. That is directly mounted onto Flow Sensor.
