The 1200 Series Variable Area Flow Meter is an inline flow meter of robust design and can be used to measure the instantaneous flow rate of most process gases and liquids. The meter is constructed with Aluminum chassis, stainless steel, or Ni plated brass end connections with borosilicate glass metering tube and a polycarbonate safety cover. The 1200 series flow meters are available in three standard lengths and can be supplied with the optional latching alarm for Hi or Lo alarms points and if required a needle control valve for flow rate adjustment.
The 1200 series meters are available with a range of standard flow rates from 5cc/mi air to 10 lt/min water service and have straight through or rear facing ¼” BSPP process connections. Easy to read standard scales or customised scales are another option. The frictionless design of these meters make for low head loss.
