The Series 1200 range of Variable Area Flow Meters are suitable for measuring the instantaneous flow rate of virtually any process liquid or gas. With an all stainless steel construction these flow meters offer excellent corrosion resistance and can be supplied with or without an integral control valve. Optional nickel plated brass or anodised aluminium alloy connections are also available on certain models.
Rear facing process connections are standard with optional straight through connections available. Flows as low as 5 – 50 cc/min and max 150 lt/min air @ 1013 mbar abs 20°C are achievable. For water service the max flow rate is 10 lt/min. These instruments are supplied complete with 2 x M5 mounting studs x 20mm long for face of panel mounting. With the optional latching alarm available for all 1200 series meters. It can be set up for flow failure, or with factory set points for hi and lo flow.
The Series 1240S Dual Tube Flowmeter is suitable for applications where two process mediums are metered side-by-side. The inlet pressures ideally should be balanced. Where two flows converge, the Series 1240S Dual Tube Flowmeter is ideal for application such as air and carbon dioxide, or oxygen and nitric oxide, etc. They can be metered together as a compound gas (or liquid).
The Series 1241S Dual Tube Cascade Flowmeter is suitable for measuring the instantaneous flow rate of virtually any process liquid or gas and is suitable for applications where the normal 10:1 turndown ratio needs to be exceeded. A typical installation would be left hand flow tube 10 -100cc/min and cascading to 100 -1000cc/min, or 0.1-1 L/min cascading to 1-10 L/min regardless of process medium, or operating conditions.
